The purpose is to give young Europeans a chance to be heard in the debate when Europe’s Education Systems meet in Istanbul, June 16th through 23rd. The European Youth & Education Forum will bring both undergraduate and graduate university students from all over Europe together for 7 days in Istanbul, Turkey. The idea is to discuss and share our view points on how education takes place in European Integration process. At the end of the conference the results will be presented with a view to synthesizing the different view points on higher education systems in Europe.
Aim: To raise awareness about educational developments in line with the principles of Bologna Declaration in the EU and elsewhere in Europe.
Objectives: - To compare the Turkish education system with European education systems. - To discover the developments taking place in EU countries and elsewhere Europe in higher education. - promote and encourage international follow-up activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and outdoor activities such as games, concerts, etc. - increase the young people’s active participation within democratic environments. - to expand on successful classroom activities by applying presentation skills in a European-Youth arena - to learn how to define personal goals, improve the quality of life and practice personal power. - to enable students understand the importance of education in all areas of activities.

Descrizione
The project aims to promote the concept of animation in a historic perspective, referring mainly to the medieval times of Europe. This project is addressed to youth workers from the partner countries, who want to exchange practical and cultural experience in terms of animation and history. The activities of the project will contain preparation sessions of the participants before the exchange, the exchange itself and an evaluation of the project. Preparation will be done through meetings and workshops where the methods used will be prepared in detail and young people will also be involved in the preparation. The project is an opportunity for young people from different socio-cultural and economical backgrounds to come together and share both work and culture. Discussions, games and even looking at each other will tackle the feeling of being European. There will be the following activities during the exchange: § Intercultural learning through interactive games and simulations § Animation workshops – creating animation activities by cumulating the experience of the participants § Animation sessions for children and youngsters in the city of Sibiu. § Participating to the Medieval Festival Transilvanian Citadels with the outcomes of the workshops, ensuring the spreading of the animation concept § Cultural visit in the medieval citadels around Sibiu – Sighisoara, Biertan, Viscri § Meetings with the public authorities: mayor, city councillors, youth department director § Meetings with other youth NGOs from Sibiu § Press conference A lot of fun
