The purpose is to give young Europeans a chance to be heard in the debate when Europe’s Education Systems meet in Istanbul, June 16th through 23rd. The European Youth & Education Forum will bring both undergraduate and graduate university students from all over Europe together for 7 days in Istanbul, Turkey. The idea is to discuss and share our view points on how education takes place in European Integration process.
At the end of the conference the results will be presented with a view to synthesizing the different view points on higher education systems in Europe.
Aim:
To raise awareness about educational developments in line with the principles of Bologna Declaration in the EU and elsewhere in Europe.
Objectives:
- To compare the Turkish education system with European education systems.
- To discover the developments taking place in EU countries and elsewhere Europe in higher education.
- promote and encourage international follow-up activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and outdoor activities such as games, concerts, etc.
- increase the young people’s active participation within democratic environments.
- to expand on successful classroom activities by applying presentation skills in a European-Youth arena
- to learn how to define personal goals, improve the quality of life and practice personal power.
- to enable students understand the importance of education in all areas of activities.
